Attached (Jan 1968) to the 2nd Battalion/54th Infantry Regiment, 4th Armored Div. (Warner Barracks), Bamberg, Germany. Assigned to Battalion Headquarters Company, S-3 (Operations/Logistics) Dept. and served as battalion draftsman. In the field, I drove an M114-A1 Command & Reconnaissance track and operated its M2-.50 caliber machine gun. My honorable discharge was 29 Aug. 1969. -- In civilian life, Graduated Truman State Univ B.S.E./ Western Illinois Univ M.A./ Univ of Missouri-Columbia M.F.A./ Johnson Atelier School of Sculpture. Employed worked/retired (2011) from IRS/Taxpayer Advocate Service, Philadelphia, PA.
