3rd Infantry Division

The 3rd Infantry Division is a mechanized infantry division of the United States Army. It is based at Fort Stewart, Georgia and currently has approximately 17,000 soldiers assigned to its ranks. The division has a long and distinguished history, having been involved in numerous conflicts including World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Gulf War. The 3rd Infantry Division is known for its rapid deployment capabilities and ability to quickly respond to crises around the world.
