The 2951st Combat Logistics Support Squadron (CLSS) was a United States Air Force unit primarily tasked with depot-level maintenance and rapid repair of aircraft and equipment. Activated during the height of the Cold War, the 2951st CLSS specialized in deploying skilled teams worldwide to support urgent operational needs and enhance aircraft readiness. Stationed at McClellan Air Force Base, California, the squadron played a crucial role in sustaining the Air Force’s fleet by providing technical expertise and logistical support during both peacetime and contingency operations.
