Was brought up in Salem Willows, just a stones throw from Winter Island. (Salem Air Station) I spent my middle & high school years in Sandwich MA, close to Cape Cod Air Station. Enlisted in 1975, went to A T/A school in Elizabeth City, then Elizabeth City Air Station 76-78. Transfered to CGAS Kodiak 78-80 mustered out in 80 but liked Kodiak so much we lived there until 1983. Then we moved to New Hampshire and brought up 3 children. I worked in construction & sales until 2012. We retired to Royal Palm Beach FL. We still get to see USCG aircraft in action here as well.
