The 3rd Marine Division is a unit of the United States Marine Corps based at Camp Courtney in Okinawa, Japan. It is one of three active duty divisions in the Marine Corps and is tasked with conducting amphibious and expeditionary operations in the Pacific region. The division is made up of approximately 16,000 Marines and sailors, organized into regiments, battalions, and companies. The 3rd Marine Division has a long and storied history, participating in numerous campaigns and battles throughout its existence.

The 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (3rd MAW) is a major aviation command within the United States Marine Corps. It is based out of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in California and is responsible for providing air support to Marine Corps ground forces. The 3rd MAW consists of multiple squadrons that operate a variety of aircraft, including fighter jets, helicopters, and support aircraft. They are trained and equipped to carry out a wide range of missions, from close air support to humanitarian assistance operations.
