1st Logistical Command

The 1st Logistical Command was a United States Army unit responsible for providing logistical support to military operations during the Vietnam War. It was activated on October 15, 1965 and was headquartered in Saigon, Vietnam. The command was tasked with managing the transportation, supply, maintenance, and medical services for all U.S. Army units in the region. The 1st Logistical Command played a crucial role in sustaining the operations of American forces in Vietnam until its deactivation on March 1, 1973.

The Supply Company, USARAL (United States Army Alaska), was established to provide critical logistical and supply support to Army units stationed in Alaska during the Cold War era. Tasked with ensuring the delivery of food, equipment, fuel, and other essential materials, the company operated in challenging arctic conditions that tested both personnel and equipment. Throughout its service, the Supply Company played a vital role in maintaining the readiness and operational capability of USARAL forces, supporting training exercises and contingency operations across the vast Alaskan territory.
