The 1st Logistical Command was a United States Army unit responsible for providing logistical support to military operations during the Vietnam War. It was activated on October 15, 1965 and was headquartered in Saigon, Vietnam. The command was tasked with managing the transportation, supply, maintenance, and medical services for all U.S. Army units in the region. The 1st Logistical Command played a crucial role in sustaining the operations of American forces in Vietnam until its deactivation on March 1, 1973.
