The 1st Combat Communications Group (1st CCG) was an elite communications unit of the United States Air Force, originally activated in 1952. Tasked with providing deployable communications and air traffic services, the group played a vital role in supporting global military operations, including contingency, humanitarian, and wartime missions. Over its history, the 1st CCG was stationed at several bases, most notably at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The group earned numerous awards for its rapid response and technical excellence before being inactivated in 1991.
Enlisted Special Reconnaissance

Enlisted Special Reconnaissance is a specialized military unit within the United States Air Force, established as part of the Special Warfare community. Originally known as Special Operations Weather Team (SOWT) members, their role evolved beyond meteorological support to encompass a broader range of reconnaissance and intelligence-gathering tasks in hostile environments. In 2019, the Air Force officially redesignated SOWT Airmen as Special Reconnaissance (SR), reflecting their expanded mission set, which includes surveillance, target acquisition, and environmental reconnaissance to support special operations missions. These highly trained enlisted Airmen operate alongside other special operations forces, providing critical information that enables mission planning and execution in complex operational theaters.
25th TACP

The 25th Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) is a specialized unit that provides critical air-ground integration for the U.S. Army and Air Force. Activated to support the 25th Infantry Division, the 25th TACP enables close air support, precision strike coordination, and battlefield communications through highly trained Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs). The unit has supported operations across the Pacific theater and deployed to conflicts such as Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Known for its expertise in joint operations and rapid deployment, the 25th TACP remains a vital asset in synchronizing air power with ground maneuver forces.
