585th Ordnance Co

I would like to know what happened to the 585th Ordnance Co. I was with the Company stationed at Toole Army Depot Utah from August 1964 until August 1965 at which point the whole Company shipped to Okinawa Japan. I was discharged in March 1966.The Company was assigned to the 6th US Army Presidio San Francisco.
I can’t find any info about the outfit.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I am in need of some help!! My future Father-n-Law Gary Bischoff was in Vietnam with the 299 Combat Engineers company C. On November 11, 1967 he pulled a guy by the name of Frank Zimmerman out of a jeep that hit a landmine! The bumper on the jeep said 102 Landclearing Romeplow! Gary put the IV in Frank and went with him to a makeshift field hospital near Dak To. I am hoping that someone could either help me find Frank or a Family Member Please! This is one of the wishes Gary would love to do is see Frank and/or Family Member and see how he is! Thank you so much!! Rachael

to do further research you may want to contact the American legion or what ever veteran group he was involved in the obituary you may also look for Zimmerman in Kearny Nebraska. maybe this is the guy maybe not but it is worth checking out. google search is a great tool.

KEARNEY — Frank O. Zimmerman Jr., 81, of Kearney died Sunday, March 1, 2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in Kearney with the Rev. Lew Champ officiating. Burial will be at Kearney Cemetery with military honors by Kearney American Legion Post 52, Kearney Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 759 and the Nebraska National Guard Honors Team.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Horner-Lieske-Horner Mortuary and one hour before services Saturday at the church.
To plant trees in memory, please visit our Sympathy Store.
