Father. Enlisted '50 or '51. Stationed at Great Lakes Navy Base is all I know. Last seen 1953 then disappeared, while on active duty. No notice from Gov't. I have limited knowledge.

Lanny, I think this is the ribbon that comes with the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. This one appears to have a bronze clasp with four loops. Each loop denotes recognition for exemplary service earned for segments of 3 yrs in peacetime or 1 yr in wartime. You should be very proud of it.
