I arrived Sep 69, and served on the boat for 6 months before the YFU’S and LCU’s were turned over to the SVN Navy. I too made many trips up the qua Viet river to Dong Ha. Along with trips up the perfume river to Hue. Must have just missed meeting you but it’s great to know you made it home.

Looking for a bud I met while I was stationed at 45th Field Hospital at Camp Darby, Italy. We got posted together on TDY providing medical coverage for a boy scout troop camping at an auxiliary compound on Darby. He was stationed at our parent MEDDAC in Vicenza, Italy. I don't know if you can help me in this issue.
From June 1974 to Dec 1977, I was stationed at Edwards AFB. I was a telephone maintenance cable splicer on base. A new recruit stationed there learning my trade. My wife had bought me a " Buck" knife for my birthday one year while I was staioned at Edwards. I was in a manhole testing and repairing a cable. I used my Buck knife in the manhole and left it in one of the cable conduit. For many years this has haunted me. If possible can this be posted and maybe some Airman may have found this Buck knife would return it to me George Huerta georgehuerta2015@gmail.com

I was at Fort Sam Houston for 2 years in the 520th medical clearing company for 1963 and 1964. I was transferred to 6th convalescent in 1966 and we were sent to Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam. I would love to get conversation with anyone who served with me.

Hello, looking for my father that was stationed in the Phillipines, Clark Air Force Base between 1970-1975. I'm told that his nickname was "wine". Pretty quiet or reserved. Very light compexioned, he may be African American and or mixed race. He left to go back to U.S around 1975 without knowing I was conceived. I was born in January 1976. He knew my mother named Violy or Violeta. Unfortunately this is all I have to go by..but if any of this rings a bell, even if you are not sure it might help..I'd truly appreciate it. Get a DNA test with Ancestry.com. They will find your nearest relatives and you will find your father. Then upload tour DNA kit results to GEDCOM for more relatives.
