About USS Windsor ARD 22

USS Windsor (ARD-22) was an Auxiliary Repair Dock (ARD) constructed for the United States Navy during World War II. Commissioned in 1944, ARD-22 was designed to provide afloat repair and maintenance services to naval vessels in forward areas, significantly enhancing fleet readiness.
