USS Truxtun (DDG-103)

USS Truxtun (DDG-103) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer in the United States Navy, commissioned on April 25, 2009. Named after Commodore Thomas Truxtun, the vessel is equipped with advanced Aegis combat systems and has participated in various multinational exercises and operations, including anti-piracy missions off the coast of Somalia. USS Truxtun played a notable role during the 2014 Crimea crisis, when it was deployed to the Black Sea to support NATO allies.
