USS Gravely (DDG-107) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer in the United States Navy, named in honor of Vice Admiral Samuel L. Gravely, Jr., the first African American to command a U.S. Navy warship and achieve flag rank. Commissioned on November 20, 2010, USS Gravely has participated in numerous operations, including NATO exercises and maritime security missions in the Atlantic and Mediterranean. The ship has deployed with carrier strike groups, provided ballistic missile defense, and supported anti-piracy operations.
