USS Forrestal (CVA 59)

ATR3 serving in active duty for 4 years and 2 years ready reserves and inactive reserves from 1961 thru 1967. During my active duty I served in three squadrons: VAP-62, VA-72, and VA=81 and served aboard the USS Independence CVA-62 and USS Forrestal CVA-59. Prior to attending Electronics school in Millington, Tennessee I served as ships company in the US Naval School of Preflight in Pensacola, Florida.

Enlisting 2 Sep 1976, after serving almost 14 years of sea duty, I finished my Navy career in May 1997 at Naval Security Group Activity, Winter Harbor, Maine
