NMBC 27

Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 27 (NMCB 27), known as the "Skibees," is a unit of the U.S. Navy Seabees, originally established during World War II in 1942. The battalion played a crucial role in constructing airfields, bases, and infrastructure in support of Allied operations in the Pacific Theater. Reactivated in the Reserve force in the late 1960s, NMCB 27 has since participated in numerous operations, including deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and humanitarian missions worldwide.
