NAS PENSACOLA

ATR3 serving in active duty for 4 years and 2 years ready reserves and inactive reserves from 1961 thru 1967. During my active duty I served in three squadrons: VAP-62, VA-72, and VA=81 and served aboard the USS Independence CVA-62 and USS Forrestal CVA-59. Prior to attending Electronics school in Millington, Tennessee I served as ships company in the US Naval School of Preflight in Pensacola, Florida.

Commissioned through the Aviation Officer Candidate School at NAS Pensacola, Florida. Served 28 years including at HC-4 in Sigonella, Italy and NSF Diego Garcia. Both of these tours as Commanding Officer. Also served at Pentagon, NATO and the Naval War College. Retired as Captain in 206
