5th Naval District

The 5th Naval District was an administrative region of the United States Navy, established in the early 20th century to oversee naval operations and shore activities along the mid-Atlantic coast. Headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, the district played a critical role during both World Wars, managing naval bases, shipyards, and training facilities in its jurisdiction.
