NMCB-5

Naval Mobile Construction Battalion FIVE (NMCB-5), known as the "Professionals," is a distinguished unit of the United States Navy Seabees first commissioned in 1942. Throughout World War II, NMCB-5 played a critical role in the Pacific Theater, constructing bases, airfields, and vital infrastructure in locations such as Guadalcanal and Okinawa. The battalion has since supported operations in Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, and during major humanitarian missions worldwide.
