USCGC SHACKLE

USCGC SHACKLE (WLIC-753) is a United States Coast Guard inland construction tender, commissioned in 1966. Based out of Southport, North Carolina, her primary mission is to maintain aids to navigation in the coastal and inland waters of the region. Over her decades of service, SHACKLE has also participated in search and rescue operations, law enforcement, and environmental protection missions.
