The United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS), established in 1952 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, serves as the U.S. Army’s premier institution for training and educating Special Forces, Psychological Operations, and Civil Affairs soldiers. Originally founded as the Psychological Warfare Center and School, it was renamed in 1960 to honor President John F. Kennedy’s pivotal support of Army Special Forces. Throughout its history, USAJFKSWCS has played a critical role in developing doctrine, training, and leadership for unconventional warfare and special operations worldwide.
