US Army General Depot Nancy

The US Army General Depot Nancy was established in 1951 near Nancy, France, during the early years of the Cold War. As part of the Communications Zone (COMZ) supporting the United States Army Europe, the depot served as a major logistics and supply center, providing essential materiel, equipment, and maintenance support to US and NATO forces stationed in Western Europe. The depot operated a vast storage and distribution network, ensuring readiness and sustainability for American units in the region.
