Service Battery, 2nd Battalion, 138th Field Artillery (SVC BTY 2/138 FA) is a unit of the Kentucky Army National Guard with a distinguished history. The battalion traces its origins to Kentucky artillery units formed during the early 20th century and has served in various capacities both at home and abroad. Notably, elements of the 2/138 FA saw combat during the Vietnam War, where they provided critical artillery support in several major operations.
