Kansas Army National Guard

The Kansas Army National Guard traces its origins back to 1855, when the Kansas Territorial Militia was organized, predating statehood. Throughout its history, the unit has served in major conflicts, including the Civil War, World Wars I and II, the Korean War, and the Global War on Terror.
