HQ 1st US Army Band

The HQ 1st US Army Band, originally constituted during World War I, has a distinguished legacy of providing musical support and boosting morale for American troops. Activated in 1918, the band played a vital role in ceremonial functions and troop entertainment both stateside and overseas. Throughout World War II and the Cold War era, the 1st US Army Band continued its service, participating in parades, official ceremonies, and community outreach.
