HHC 4th ID

Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC), 4th Infantry Division (ID), serves as the command and administrative element for the 4th ID, one of the U.S. Army’s most storied divisions. The 4th ID was activated in 1917 and played key roles in World War I, World War II—including the D-Day landings at Utah Beach—and the Vietnam War. In recent decades, HHC 4th ID has supported deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, providing essential leadership, planning, and logistical support for division operations.
