HHC 1:36th Infantry

Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 36th Infantry Regiment (HHC 1/36th Infantry) is a unit with a distinguished lineage within the United States Army. The 36th Infantry Regiment was first constituted in 1916 and has served in numerous conflicts, including World War II, where its elements participated in campaigns in North Africa and Europe. Reactivated and redesignated several times, the 1st Battalion has been an integral part of the 1st Armored Division, supporting operations in Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan in the 21st century.
