Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 14th Field Artillery Regiment (HHB, 1-14th FA) traces its origins to the 14th Field Artillery, constituted in 1916 and activated at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Over its long history, the battalion has served with distinction in World War II, the Vietnam War, and Operations Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom, providing essential artillery support to maneuver forces. The unit has been recognized for its adaptability, transitioning through various artillery platforms and mission sets, including Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) operations.
