COMPHIBRON 7

Commander, Amphibious Squadron Seven (COMPHIBRON 7), was established in the early 1950s as part of the U.S. Navy’s commitment to amphibious warfare and power projection in the Pacific region. Over the decades, COMPHIBRON 7 has directed and coordinated amphibious ready groups, supporting Marine Expeditionary Units and joint operations, particularly in the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean. The unit has played key roles in numerous exercises, humanitarian missions, and contingency operations, including disaster relief and crisis response in Asia-Pacific littorals.
