Company C (minus), 878th Engineer Battalion, Combat Heavy (Co C(-), 878th Engr Bn Cbt Hvy) is a unit of the Georgia Army National Guard with a distinguished record of service. The 878th Engineer Battalion traces its lineage to earlier National Guard engineer units, providing critical combat engineering support in both domestic and overseas operations. Company C has deployed in support of operations such as Operation Iraqi Freedom, where its soldiers performed route clearance, construction, and infrastructure repair missions under hazardous conditions.
