C-Battery, 7th Battalion, 15th Field Artillery (7/15 FA) was a key artillery unit based at Fort Ord, California, during the Cold War era. The 7/15 FA originally traces its lineage to World War I, serving with distinction in multiple conflicts. At Fort Ord, C-Battery provided direct and general support artillery fire, conducting rigorous training missions to maintain combat readiness for possible deployment. The unit played a crucial role in supporting infantry units, participating in major field exercises until the inactivation of Fort Ord in 1994 led to its deactivation or reassignment.
