B Battery and Service Battery, 3rd Battalion, 37th Field Artillery (3/37th FA), were integral components of the 2nd Infantry Division’s artillery regiment. Activated during the Cold War era, these batteries provided crucial fire support and logistical capabilities in support of combined arms operations. B Battery specialized in delivering precise and rapid artillery fire, while Service Battery ensured continuous supply, maintenance, and transportation for the battalion's mission readiness. Throughout their history, both batteries participated in major training exercises and deployments, contributing to deterrence and stability on the Korean Peninsula and elsewhere as required by U.S. Army commitments.
