875th Engineer Battalion

The 875th Engineer Battalion is a unit of the Arkansas Army National Guard, with its origins dating back to World War II. Initially activated in 1943, the battalion provided vital combat engineering support during the war, including construction, demolition, and mobility operations. Over the decades, the 875th has participated in numerous domestic and overseas missions, including deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where members constructed roads and cleared routes of improvised explosive devices.
