867th FA Battalion

The 867th Field Artillery (FA) Battalion was activated during World War II as part of the U.S. Army’s rapid expansion to meet global conflict demands. Equipped primarily with 155mm howitzers, the unit provided crucial fire support for infantry and armored divisions in the European Theater.
