76th Support Battalion

The 76th Support Battalion was originally constituted on 27 May 1941 in the Regular Army and activated on 1 June 1941 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. During World War II, the battalion provided vital logistical and maintenance support for combat units in major campaigns throughout Europe.
