The 728th AAA (Anti-Aircraft Artillery) Gun Battery was a unit of the United States Army formed during World War II as part of the broader effort to protect Allied forces and critical infrastructure from enemy air attacks. Equipped primarily with 90mm anti-aircraft guns, the unit was responsible for providing air defense against German aircraft in the European Theater of Operations.
