703rd Main Support Battalion

The 703rd Main Support Battalion (703rd MSB) was originally constituted in 1942 as part of the U.S. Army and has served in various support roles throughout its history. Assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division, the battalion provided vital logistical and maintenance support during World War II, the Korean War, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2004, the 703rd MSB was reorganized and redesignated as the 703rd Brigade Support Battalion under the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division. The unit continues to play a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness and sustainment of combat forces through transportation, supply, and maintenance functions.
