The 602d Aviation Support Battalion (ASB) is a unit of the United States Army with a primary mission of providing aviation maintenance and logistical support to aviation brigades. It was constituted on 16 September 2005 and assigned to the 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, stationed in the Republic of Korea. The 602d ASB has played a vital role in ensuring the operational readiness of Army aviation assets on the Korean Peninsula, supporting both peacetime training and deterrence operations. The battalion has been recognized for its excellence in sustainment operations and its contribution to the U.S.-ROK alliance.
