567th ADM -Darmstadt Germany

The 567th Artillery Detachment Missile (ADM) was a U.S. Army unit stationed in Darmstadt, Germany, during the Cold War. Tasked with the custody, security, and readiness of nuclear artillery warheads, the 567th ADM operated in close coordination with NATO allies, supporting deterrence missions against Warsaw Pact forces. The unit was responsible for maintaining and, if necessary, deploying tactical nuclear munitions for use with allied artillery systems in the event of conflict.
