The 551st Military Police Company (551st MP Co.) was activated during World War II to provide law enforcement, security, and combat support for U.S. Army operations. Over its history, the unit has been stationed at various posts, most notably at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and Fort Hood, Texas. The 551st MP Co. has participated in numerous deployments, including peacekeeping missions, combat operations, and support roles in conflicts such as Operation Iraqi Freedom. Renowned for its professionalism and adaptability, the company has earned several commendations for its service both at home and abroad.
