The 512th Military Police (MP) Company, often referred to as the "Guardians," was first activated during World War II to provide security and law enforcement in support of combat operations in the European Theater. Over the decades, the 512th MP has deployed in support of major conflicts, including the Korean War, Operation Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning commendations for its professionalism and adaptability. The unit has also played a vital role in humanitarian missions and domestic disaster response, showcasing its versatility beyond traditional military police roles. Today, the 512th MP Company continues to uphold its legacy, ensuring security, order, and support for both military operations and civilian authorities as part of the U.S. Army’s Military Police Corps.
