The 5035th GSU (Ground Services Unit) was a United States Air Force unit activated during the early years of the Cold War. Stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, the unit was primarily responsible for providing vital administrative, logistical, and ground support services to various operational units in the region. Throughout its tenure, the 5035th GSU played a key role in supporting air defense missions and maintaining the security of Alaska's strategic airspace. The unit continued its operations until it was inactivated as part of broader USAF organizational restructuring in the late 1970s.
