4:11th Armored Cavalry

The 4th Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment (4/11th ACR) was activated during the Vietnam War as part of the famed “Blackhorse Regiment.” The unit deployed to Vietnam in 1969, where it conducted reconnaissance, security, and combat operations primarily in the III Corps Tactical Zone.
