The 40th Headquarters Company, often associated with the historic 40th Infantry Division, has a legacy dating back to World War I. Originally constituted in 1917, the unit has served as the command and administrative hub for the division, coordinating operations and logistics in major conflicts including World War II and the Korean War. Over the decades, the 40th Headquarters Company has deployed in support of both combat and peacekeeping missions, adapting to the evolving needs of the U.S. Army. Today, it continues to provide critical leadership and support functions for the 40th Infantry Division in both domestic and overseas operations.
