3rd MASH

The 3rd Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (3rd MASH) was a vital U.S. Army medical unit, first activated during World War II to provide rapid, frontline surgical care for wounded soldiers. Reactivated for the Korean War, the 3rd MASH operated close to the front lines, saving countless lives through advanced trauma surgery techniques in harsh field conditions. The unit was renowned for its mobility and adaptability, frequently relocating in response to shifting battle lines.
