3:7th ADA

The 3rd Battalion, 7th Air Defense Artillery Regiment (3-7 ADA) traces its lineage to the early 20th century, with roots in the Coast Artillery Corps. Reactivated and redesignated several times, the battalion became a key air defense unit within the U.S. Army, notably operating the PATRIOT missile system. Throughout its history, 3-7 ADA has supported numerous operations, including deployments to the Middle East for Operations Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom, providing critical theater air and missile defense.
