The 378th Military Police Detachment (MP Det) is a unit within the United States Army Reserve specializing in law enforcement and security operations. Activated during the late 20th century, the 378th MP Det has provided critical support both stateside and overseas, including deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. The unit’s missions have ranged from base security and detainee operations to supporting local law enforcement and conducting area security patrols in combat zones. Throughout its history, the 378th MP Det has earned recognition for its professionalism, adaptability, and contributions to both military operations and community missions.
