The 3rd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment (3/69 Armor) is a distinguished armored battalion within the 3rd Infantry Division of the United States Army. In recent decades, 3/69 Armor gained recognition for its pivotal role in the 2003 invasion of Iraq, famously leading the charge into Baghdad as part of "Thunder Run."
