32nd Army Air Defense Command

Basic Training at Fort Ord, Ca March 31, 1973, to May 1, 1073. AIT at FortBliss for 24Q. Nike Hercules fire Control mechanics, then off to Germany and Hilltop Nike Hercules Site until ETS March 31, 1975. Civilian life was difficult for the first few years, but I did go into Construction for a short time, then on to motor mechanic for 2 years before indulging in driving OTR in semi-trucks for 39 years before retiring. I also moved around until 1995, when I made the move from California to Oklahoma, where I have remained and retired.

I am a proud veteran and a friend to all patriots, I served proudly and now my life is lived by the standards that I learned while serving. I have worked for the same company for 8 years now as a truck and trailer mechanic and I enjoy the friendship of my co workers.

Born & Raised in The GERMANTOWN Section of Philadelphia, Pa. Entered the Service, under The D.E.P. (Delayed Entry Program), 02/27/78. Basic & A.I.T., at Fort McLellan Ala. Finishing 04/79. Worked 30 days "Recruiters Aide", following 10 days LEAVE, Glenside, Pa. Went on to be Stationed at Fort POLK, (a.k.a. "PUKE"), Louisiana, 5th M.P. Co.-5TH INF. DIV.! TOOK PART IN OPERATION- "WINTER RAIDER"- Fort Drum, N.Y., 5 Weeks. Transfered to- "SECURITY PLATOON" 5TH BN./6TH ADA, HONTHEIM Germany. Went on to be Stationed at - "S.I.A.D."- Sierra Army Depot, 980th M.P. CO. Herlong, Ca. E.T.S. 09/10/84- HORSHAM, PA. After 4 Years of Civilian Life, became A "Citizen Soldier"- "723 M.P. Detachment-1", in N.E. PHILADELPHIA, PA.! "MORPHED", INTO The 2nd/111th Infantry, (founded in 1747 by Benjamin Franklin!). Was "Transferring"- to The PA. Air National GUARD, when I was Medically Discharged, due to a HEART Condition. Was Later MEDICALLY SEPERATED BY THE V.A., 100% SERVICE CONNECTED, DISABILITY. AM LIVING AS A RETIRED POLICE OFFICER, HAVING WORKED IN THE CITY OF-PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA. I am Now Waiting to Marry The LOVE of My Life, THEE MOST INCREDIBLE LADY I'VE EVER KNOWN CLAUDIA TRAINER.I have seen & done Many Exciting things in my Young 65 Years, But Meeting CLAUDIA, TAKES THE CAKE!❤️

I did basic at Ft. Leonard Wood in the winter of 1978. Then I went to Ft. Bliss and was in the student battalion for 9 months. I graduated Air Defense Radar Repair for Hawk and Nike Herc missile radars. MOS was 26H. Then I served in HHB 2nd of the 2nd ADA in Giessen Germany at the BOC and DSP. My immediate supervisor ad good friend was Spec 5 Gary Baugh. After leaving Germany in 1981 I was stationed at HHB 1st of the 65th ADA at Ft. Bliss TX. I ETS'd in 1982.
