327th Infantry

The 327th Infantry Regiment was first constituted in the National Army in August 1917 and assigned to the 82nd Division during World War I, participating in key campaigns such as the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. Reactivated for World War II, the regiment became part of the 101st Airborne Division and distinguished itself in major operations, including the Normandy landings, Operation Market Garden, and the Battle of the Bulge.
